TEKSIL Bulk silicone provides an economical solution by lowering your moldmaking material costs. Fabricating your own molds from our bulk material can result in savings of up to 55% over the cost of ready to use sets. Bulk TEKSIL is sold by pound or kilogram.
Minimum order of 75 lbs. (34 kg).
Supplied as slabs, logs and pieces, measuring approximately 1/2" to 3/4" thick assorted. It may be used in the thickness supplied and cut out to desired mold diameter as required. For thinner size, the bulk rubber can be cold press squeezed to the desired thickness, using your own TEKCAST hydraulic vulcanizing press. (Easy to follow instructions will be provided.) Any excess material or trimmings can be simply pieced together and press squeezed to the desired thickness. TEKSIL compounds will easily cold flow and piece themselves together in this manner so that all bulk material can be salvaged and fully utilized to make mold sets. NOTE: Bulk rubber will vary in size, thickness and width. Further processing required to form into mold sets before use.
