TEKSIL DR -RED (DURO 66) is one of our newer, low cost silicone mold materials. It may be used as an inexpensive "backup rubber" for the higher quality TEKSIL DW and TEKSIL GP mold compounds.(It does not offer the same high thermal conductive/heat transfer qualities as TEKSIL LC, our other low cost compound) Utilized primarily with TEKSIL DW in Lead Based Fishing Lure casting programs. 

Note: The TEKSIL LC compound is recommended in applications that require better heat transfer/quicker mold cooling, less shrinkage with greater dimensional stability and a firmer durometer.
