Klean Klay Klean Klay is a non sulfur , ordorless oil based clay that will not dry out or harden. At room temperature it is hand pliable. Its smooth consistency is ideal for 3-dimensional art, caulking of RTV mold box, taxidermy and product development modeling. Klean Klay will not inhibit the cure of silicone or urethane mold rubbers.
A valuable aid in RTV Mold Making .....
This oil based clay is used to establish the parting line of your RTV Mold. The model is simply placed in the prepared mold form/box on the clay bed to the desired depth and the RTV is poured over the model. After the mold has cured, the clay portion is removed and the other half of the mold is poured.
