TEKCAST offers several specially formulated TEKALOY products to assist you in achieving the desired results from your casting project.
08-200 TEKALOY ZC - Special grade, ready to use Zinc - Cadmium alloy Ideal for large size parts and models up to 5 lbs. each, with wall thickness of 1" or under. Produces smooth surface with excellent detail and surface finish with very low porosity, medium strength and hardness.
Can be soldered and easily electroplated. Normal casting temperatures range in degrees between 675 - 725 F (365 - 385 C). Provides longest mold life on any application, usually 2 times more than obtained with any commercial grade alloys. Sold by the lb., minimum ZINC order 50 lbs.
